Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solicitor to join our dynamic team in Cardiff. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of cases, collaborate with experienced attorneys, and contribute to the growth and success of our firm.

Responsibilities:

  1. Legal Representation: Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in various legal matters, including but not limited to civil litigation, family law, criminal defense, and property law.

  2. Case Management: Manage a caseload efficiently and effectively, ensuring all deadlines and client expectations are met.

  3. Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and decision-making.

  4. Court Appearances: Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and negotiations, advocating on their behalf and presenting compelling arguments.

  5. Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.

  6. Drafting Legal Documents: Prepare and review legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, motions, and agreements with accuracy and attention to detail.

  7. Collaboration: Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to achieve optimal outcomes for clients and contribute to the overall success of the firm.

  8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in the provision of legal services.

Qualifications:

  1. Qualified Solicitor with a valid practicing certificate issued by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).

  2. Demonstrated experience in one or more areas of law relevant to the firm's practice areas.

  3. Strong litigation and advocacy skills, with experience representing clients in court proceedings.

  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.

  5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

  6. Proven ability to manage a caseload efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  7. Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and support staff.

  8. Commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and client service.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience working in a law firm environment.

  2. Experience using legal research tools and software.

  3. Fluency in Welsh language would be advantageous but not essential.
